ETHNIC TEXTILES STUDY GROUP

EthnicTextileImage_Edited1.jpg

The Ethnic Textiles Study Group of the Textile Arts Council meets once a month. Members lead 1-hour presentations on a particular aspect of ethnic textiles. The talks reflect a personal collection or interest and are illustrated by photos, slides, or actual textiles. Attendance at ETSG meetings is a benefit of your current TAC membership.

To learn more about the Ethnic Textiles Study Group call the Textile Arts Council office at (415) 750-3627 or you may contact Serena Lee at textile.odyssey@gmail.com

EXPAND YOUR WORLD

“The Ethnic Textiles Study Group is a great way to see, touch, and learn about textiles from around the world in a low-key atmosphere with people who are passionate about their interest and willing to share with others the knowledge and items they’ve acquired.”

“I look forward to every meeting of the Ethnic Textiles Study Group. It is a pleasure to share our diverse perspectives with each other as knowledgeable and passionate enthusiasts of textiles from around the world. The “up-close-and-personal” opportunity to see (and touch!) these treasures is unique and stimulating.”
