Guided Textile and Garden Tour of Filoli

Thursday, May 26, 2022 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM PT

Filoli Historic House & Garden, 86 Cañada Road, Woodside, CA 94062

Admission: Open to TAC members only and up to one paying guest of a TAC member. Members: $30. Guests: $35.

Join us for a special day out in a beautiful setting for a guide textile and garden tour of Filoli, a historic house and gardens. Also known as the Bourn-Roth Estate, it features a 54,000 square foot Georgia revival style mansion, set in 16 acres of formal gardens surrounded by a 654-acre estate in Woodside.

Julie Bly DeVere, Director of Museum Collections, will provide a private tour of the House's textiles and possibly some behind-the-scenes areas. Our house tour, especially curated for TAC, will focus on Filoli’s rarely seen textiles collection and the interior, decorated with European and Asian antiques including rugs and tapestries. A garden tour is also included, along with a Visitor Guide and a Filoli bag.

Originally built as a private residence in 1917, Filoli was opened to the public in 1977 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

For those who want refreshments or lunch at Filoli, the Quail's Nest Cafe is open 10-4 and offers indoor and outdoor seating.

TAC members may invite up to one paying guest at the TAC member price.
